• Seaside Casual furniture is made from EnviroWood®, an all-weather, marine-grade, recycled HDPE polymer (the kind found in milk jugs).
• Essentially maintenance-free, the HDPE material is non-porous and resistant to moisture, fading, insects, splinting, warping, and other hazards of environmental exposure common to wood and wood-fiber-composite products.
• Colorfast and weatherproof, furniture constructed from EnviroWood can endure corrosive seaside air, a New England winter, or an Arizona heat wave.
• HDPE is more environmentally stable than other types of resins and polymers and doesn't give off any harmful fumes.
• Marine-grade stainless steel (316) fasteners ensure superior protection when exposed to the elements. (On the other hand, low-grade stainless or painted components can easily corrode in harsh coastal environments.)
