How to Request Priority Production

1. Submit the Request Custom Quote form. Select or state that this is a rush or emergency request.
2. Provide the exact deadline. Tell us the date and time the completed order is needed and whether that deadline refers to production, shipment or local delivery.
3. Email your files. Send any spreadsheet, drawing, PDF or photographs to customerservice@comforthouse.com with RUSH REQUEST and your name or company in the subject line.
4. Provide complete specifications. Include the quantity, finished dimensions, exact wording, color, material thickness, mounting requirements, holes, cutouts and delivery address or shipping ZIP code.
5. Wait for written confirmation. Do not assume that the deadline has been accepted until Comfort House confirms availability, pricing and the production schedule in writing.
6. Approve and pay promptly. Production time begins only after we receive payment, all required information and written approval of any applicable proof.

Files We Can Review

We can review Excel, CSV, PDF, JPG, PNG, DXF and CorelDRAW files. Files requiring conversion, tracing, cleanup, correction or development of missing artwork may incur an artwork or setup charge and may affect rush availability.

For DXF files, also provide a dimensioned PDF showing the intended appearance, identify whether the drawing uses inches or millimeters and include at least one known overall measurement. DXF drawings should be prepared at full size.

Digital Proofs and Approval

A digital proof may be required depending on the complexity and risk of the project. Rush status does not eliminate the need to verify spelling, wording, dimensions, quantities, colors, hole locations, cutouts and layout.

Small placards may be enlarged on the proof for readability; the written dimensions determine the finished size. Colors displayed on a screen are approximate. Approval applies to the specified material and named color combination, not to an exact digital color match.

Production begins after written approval. Corrections or changes requested after approval may result in additional charges and a revised completion time.

Rush Production and Delivery Are Different

A confirmed production time tells you when the order is expected to be completed or ready to ship. It does not guarantee when a shipping carrier or local delivery service will deliver the order.

• Expedited shipping may be available at an additional charge.
• Local delivery may be available for qualifying orders when confirmed in advance. Delivery charges may apply.
• Customer pickup is not available.
• Carrier and delivery delays caused by weather, traffic or other circumstances outside the control of Comfort House cannot be guaranteed against.
• Weekend, holiday and after-hours production should not be assumed.
• An order is not considered accepted until availability is confirmed in writing.

What May Prevent Rush Production?

We may be unable to accept a requested deadline when:

• The required material or color is not in stock.
• Measurements, wording or mounting specifications are incomplete.
• The artwork requires extensive reconstruction or correction.
• A physical sample or prototype is necessary.
• The order requires an unusually large quantity or extensive sorting.
• The proposed material or design is not suitable for the stated application.
• The product is manufactured or supplied by an outside company.
• Current production commitments do not allow the work to be completed reliably.

Customer Responsibility

Comfort House manufactures products to the wording, dimensions and specifications approved by the customer. The customer, contractor, installer, engineer, aircraft owner, mechanic, inspector or other qualified professional is responsible for determining whether the selected wording, character size, colors, material, placement and mounting method satisfy the requirements applicable to the intended installation.

For inspection-related acrylic address plaques and identification signs, the customer is responsible for confirming the required size, wording, character height, color, reflectivity and mounting location with the applicable inspector or local authority before approving production.
