I would love to give 5 stars because this griddle works great but we must put four coasters under one of the legs to make it level.

When I first received the griddle it did not look like the one I was expecting. I purchased it due to my parents having the same one, but theirs was 3-4 yrs old and a different color. Comfort house customer service went out of their way to help answer all of questions and offer me several different avenues to keep me satisfied. I ended up keeping the griddle as I learned they changed their color but the quality is still amazing. Thank you again Comfort house for the great service and great product!

Awesome quality! Does the job perfectly, no hot spots or cold spots. Nice non-stick finish. This is a big griddle that takes a lot of space to store. Great for cooking pancakes and eggs, lots of cooking space. Works great for our big family.

Near uniform heating across the non-stick surface is very good, better than any unit I've come across. But it is slightly hotter at the "plug" end of the griddle surface, as mentioned in the info sheet.
Most annoying: Plastic feet without any sort of rubberized gripping pads on the bottom of each leg is a surprising design oversight - on a smooth surface (granite in my case) the griddle easily and unintentionally will slide all over the place.
Plug-in module, twin electric male conductors, the spacing is approximately 1/32-inch out of alignment with the holes they plug into; initially failed to make contact despite the module being fully inserted - surface remained cold. Bending the plugs to compensate for the 1/32-inch misalignment seems to have taken care of the problem... but that caused a slight crack in the base of one plug, the ceramic surrounding area. Will continual plug-and-unplug use eventually render the plug-in module defective from wear? After a month of use the griddle heats every time. Two+ years from now - undetermined results.
Recommended operating temperatures for various foods as listed on the information sheet are appreciably off their mark; pancakes is one example: 220 degrees along with a rather short cooking time suggested - whereas a 375 degree setting on the dial is required, plus about double the suggested cooking time.
Wall plug-in cord is unusually heavy duty, reflective of a quality item. Physical size of griddle is a solid "plus." But size also creates a storage problem, the space required, far worse if the plug-in module and cord is left plugged in.
Backsplash seems a bit light-duty, not sure what it's actually protecting other than creating a physical backstop for food items.
Plug-in module spacing flaw is a significant design defect.
Slippery plastic feet bottom surfaces is the other negative.
Cooking surface: uniformity of heating, non-stick qualities are both excellent, likewise the large cooking surface available.
Electrical plug-in issue misalignment, if it prevails on all units sold - tempers the overall rating to "bad". I suspect quality-control is lacking at the mfg. level.

I purchased this to take on a trip next month...a family get-together of about 20 people. I have a Jenn-Aire grill/griddle built-in with my stove-top, so didn't really need it here, but decided to try it out before the trip. It is great! It doesn't look a lot bigger than other griddles I've seen...some, but not it's certainly not enormous. That was a disappointment to me when I first saw it, because I need it to use for such a large group. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I put the burgers on it. It could hold eight big 6-oz. burgers easily....probably ten if you crowd them. My Jen-Aire can't hold as many as this griddle. Plus, it gets plenty hot. I definitely recommend it.
