Economy Rural Mailbox with Locking Insert - - the classic curbside mailbox with a security upgrade. Designed for installation on your own post. Helps keep your mail secure until you retrieve it and helps prevent identity theft. Made in USA.
  • Mailbox is made of galvanized steel with a smooth rust-resistant finish, steel latch and red aluminum flag.
  • Locking insert is also made of galvanized steel and features a powder coat finish with locking front retrieval door.
  • Outgoing mail can be placed on top of the locking insert. Incoming mail can be delivered securely inside the locking portion.
    • Incoming mail slot opening: 6-3/8"W x 1"H.
    • Locking door opening: 6-3/8"W x 5"H.
    • Insert overall dimensions: 6-1/2" wide x 5"H x 16"D.
    • Includes lock and two keys.

I got this mailbox to help protect from male theft around her area. For $200 this is the most flimsy thing I've ever seen in my life, and compared to the rest of our neighbors lock mailbox next to ours it looks comical. The inside locking mechanism is so flimsy I could probably pull it out with my hands. And it flexes so much like it's about to break. Also the Gap to put the mail in is so big that you can literally fit your hand in there and just take the mail out. What a waste of money.
