Slate Flower Pot Trivet, Slate Candle Stand, Table Sculpture Stand - - This is the black slate trivet that will support your candle, flower pot, table sculpture or ornament and protect the top of a dresser, desk, or decorative table. Not for use with hot pots.
  • Produced from solid hand-cut, fine-grained slate.
  • The simple black design will fit stylishly within most interiors and look wonderful underneath your favorite dinner plates.
  • Real slate boards make unique serving platters for cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, bread, and sandwiches; art or message boards, and more.
    • When used in food service, clean the board well with soapy water and then coat with vegetable oil for added protection.
    • Artwork on the board (a chalk drawing, for example) can be sprayed with an acrylic overcoat to protect the artwork for a permanent design.
  • They also make perfect hostess gifts or host gifts, housewarming gifts, and a set of three is a perfect engagement gift or anniversary gift.
  • Comes in three sizes:
    • Small 5" x 7" (shown with the candle in small image).

  • To hide any scratches, rub mineral oil into the slate.
