Casita® enclosures are 90 percent preassembled for you, which minimizes set up time (allow 2-3 hours). Rust-proof fiberglass screens enable air to circulate and keep out bugs. Three-ply vinyl roof resists mildew. Roof grommets prevent water pocketing and sagging. Heavy duty galvanized metal frame with metal finish that resists fading and oxidation.

Four styles:

  • Casita Square (11'7" square; 134 square feet) with white frame and gray roof. Peak height 8'8", weight 142 pounds. 45" panels.
  • Casita Square (11'7" square; 134 square feet) with chesnut frame and almond roof. Peak height 8'8", weight 142 pounds. 45" panels.
  • Casita Square (10'4" square; 106 square feet) with chesnut frame and almond roof. Peak height 8'8", weight 140 pounds. 40" panels.
  • Casita Round (14'9" diameter; 162 square feet) with chesnut frame and almond roof. Peak height 8'8", weight 142 pounds. 45" panels.
1-year mfg. warranty against normal wear and tear; no warranty against acts of nature. Set-up takes 2 people; allow an afternoon for assembly (click small image above). Includes step-by-step instructions.

Because the Casita is easy to transport and assemble, it lends itself to temporary use at a campground or summer cabin. All you need is a screwdriver. At the end of the season, fold the Casita back into its original carton for convenient storage.

Learn more about the construction: The door frame and roof tubes are made out of aluminum. The steel used to make the panels/body of the screenhouse is produced to ASTM-4653 specifications of hot dipped galvanized steel; it is of commercial quality strength and additionally the material is formed at the manufacturing plant giving it roll-formed lines for extra rigidity.

IMPORTANT CAUTION Casita screenhouse is not designed to withstand heavy winds or snow. Please disassemble your screenhouse during inclement weather and the off season. Though flame retardant, keep all flammable materials away from the roof.

A recommended accessory for your Casita is the optional deck anchor kit SH19138 (Comfort House item # SH19138F).

Setting up walls was easy. Building and setting up roof frame was also easy. Installing vinyl roof was some what of a challenge. Directions state using the center hole for roof spare adjustment. I recommend using the hole.that make each spare the shortest length possible. Even with the shortest length set it was still really tight.

We were looking for a bigger screen room and this did the trick. So much more walking space around a table in there. We are very happy with the white trim and gray top. Shipping was on time and we think sooner than we expected. Very easy to assemble. A+++++++
  Mild steel vs Aluminium, June 17, 2016

Screen-house arrived in perfect condition and went up easily. However I was disappointing to discover the frame is made of mild steel. This is my second screen house in 20 years. My original screen house was famed in square aluminum tubing and felt sturdier.

We have owned two other Casita screen houses in the past.
Excellent purchase!

One tip for others:
When installing the roof tubes, always place the tip ends at their shortest (inner) position. Doing this makes roof installation much easier, and if necessary, the tips can always be lengthened later to adjust the roof tension.

Our Casita served us well. The advertisement cautioned that
this screenhouse will not stand up to heavy winds or snow. That
is CORRECT!!!! However, when a storm "sneaks up on you with
no warning on its intensity, you get sort of caught in between. As
a help, if you tie down the roof with rope using two sides which are
opposite each other, and tie a rope from the point where the
roofing sides pieces meet, you have a good chance of
absorbing a good hit. It also helps to have the Casita fastened
to a deck rather than in the yard. All in all, a good buy.

I am so glad I bought this. We finally got our brick pavers down and put up the screen house. It is great, I love it. I personally recommend getting 2 anchor kits because we are planning on keeping up the walls but just taking down the roof during bad weather. In one anchor kit there is 12 brackets, one for each wall and if you live near the windy city like I do I bought a second kit so there are 2 per wall. Plus, dont try to go to a home improvement store to buy the anchor kits because they dont have them!
