Full Spectrum Lighting
Great for seasonal affective disorder
Full spectrum bulbs are made of a special hand-blown
glass that is not colored or coated, but instead contain
a rare earth element, neodymium. This element absorbs
yellow and other dulling components of the spectrum and
produces a purified light that is whiter and brighter
than light obtained from standard bulbs. The light
enhances black and white on written pages and makes
colors appear more accurately.
Item 81605K is our most popular combo pack of 2 60W and 2 100W standard size clear full spectrum lightbulbs (it is the clear bulb shown towards right bottom of above photo). This four lightbulb package is great for full spectrum lighting novices and experts alike.
Bulbs burn an average of 5,000 hours -- four times longer than ordinary bulbs. All full spectrum lightbulbs sold by Comfort House are 120V for use with U.S. and Canadian fixtures only. Made by Chromalux.
