This is the best heated mattress pad bar none, with one caveat. In my experience it doesn't last long, average two years before one side will go out. Sometimes it's the pad itself, other times it's just the controller that goes out. This is my fourth pad in less than 10 years. The price has come down over the years, and because of the low voltage technology I still prefer it over any other, but I wouldn't expect durability in terms of the electronics. I suggest saving the controllers that work to have an extra.

We bought this mattress pad somewhere else about 5 years ago. We have enjoyed it maybe 270 nights a year since. The rest of the time the weather was too warm. When we travel, especially in cold climates, we complain that we want to get home to our mattress pad. And what happened? After a measly five years one of the wires gave out and we had to buy a new one! BTW, they really do have the 50-cycle hum or whatever it is. I can't hear it but it drives my wife nuts, although she never mentioned it before the last month. Maybe it had to do with the failure of our unit. So that's my complaint - can't live without this thing.

Huge fan of this product! My husband and I had the same pad for a few years and it quit working. Don't let you Grand kids jump on your bed as it will ruin your pad! I still can't believe we did that! We went a few unhappy weeks before placing an order for a new one. We originally ordered our first one from a competing site and I found the SAME pad for a much better price here at Comfort House. We both decided we can't live without it no matter what season of the year it is! We use it everyday ALL year long.

We have never had a heated mattress pad. We purchased a Queen size with dual zone. As I read reviews prior to ordering the product met all expectations. As we are up here in the frigid state of Maine in a drafty old farmhouse any product that can help make my wife happy is a great product. Her comment was why did I get her one years ago!

We should have bought this warming mattress pad sooner as we are loving it! We warm the bed before getting in, then turn it off. It warms up quickly and fits the mattress well.

After buying two other heating pads for another company that did not work. I decided to find another company with better quality. After reading reviews I decided to order this one. I have been nothing but happy with this product. It is perfect for couples who prefer different settings & the cords being at the top makes it easy to turn the blanket on and off during the night if need be. I would recommend this heating blanket over any other brand

This Pad is so soft and it is so nice to get into a warm bed. I love having all the cords at the top of the bed where they are not in the way. I can keep my side toasty and my husband likes his side cool. It was also plenty deep enough for our thick mattress. We are very happy!

I've really enjoyed using this warming mattress pad. I like the warmth coming up from under me rather than on top with an electric blanket. The temperature is easy to regulate, too. I have two cats on the bed with me and they love it, too! Does make it harder to crawl out of a cozy, warm bed in the mornings!

This is my best purchase of 2012. VERY reasonable price (considering competitive products cost more than 3x). Product works well, easy to install. Other reviews that mention cool edges are true, but doesn't bother me. Bottom line: there's nothing better than getting into a warm bed during the winter!

This is my second winter with this heated mattress pad, and so far it's as wonderful as it was when I first purchased it. I hung it out on the clothesline after last winter's use, have not felt like it needs washing. I think it's a wonderful product for the price, and it does fit perfectly, as advertised. We have these pads on every bed in our house and they keep us snug and warm. It also saves money because we are able to turn down the thermostat at night. For some reason, conventional electric mattress pads and electric blankets give me a headache. These pads do not. We have been using them for four years. We have had to replace a few when washing seemed to damage their ability to heat. But we remain very satisfied with the product.

First, my order arrived in TWO days, and I didn't pay for fast shipping, just the normal. Awesome!
Next, the low voltage mattress pad is the most wonderful thing. Our bedroom is very cold, and I almost hated to go to bed at night. But since the mattress pad came, I can't wait to get to bed. It is just so cozy and warm. I preheat it on 5, and then turn it down to 1 for the rest of the night. I have not been cold since. It is like a piece of heaven.
Another great thing, you absolutely can not feel the wires. I had an old mattress pad that was miserably uncomfortable because the wires hurt my back, so I threw it out. I will never throw this one out. It is a wonderful improvement . Now I will not hate winter so much since I can sleep all nice and warm.

My wife and I have different internal thermostats. I'm always warm, she's always cold. In our queen size bed, I'm under just a sheet, she's got flannels, socks, a blanket, comforter, and heavy bedspread - and a heating pad. In desperations, I looked around for some method of heating a bed, with dual controls. I found the Comfort House dual control mattress pad - and it has turned out to be as good as all the extremely positive reviews that I read before purchasing. Now we are both very comfortable, getting good sleeps, and she's ditched a blanket, the bedspread, and her heating pad. Thanks very much for the quick delivery, particularly with your factory and offices being affected by the recent big storm down east.

We built our home off grid, with electricity supplied by the sun. This pad uses very little electricity and does not cause the electromagnetic radiation inherent in electric blankets which are potentially very harmful for your body's health. The only negative I can think about this pad is that it's so cozy in the morning it takes me awhile to get out of bed...

This is a well made, comfortable pad. Gets plenty warm. I usually turn it on high for a short time before I go to bed, so that when I get into bed it's nice and warm. Then I only need to set it on low on one side for the remainder of the night.

I did a fair amount of research with respect to the safety and efficiency of this type product. I am delighted. Rather than spend another $200 on soft flannel sheets for the winter, this low voltage mattress pad heats up my cotton sheets in minutes. Just perfect to snuggle into bed. What took me so long?

Bought this pad in Queen size and it fits perfect. Pad heats up quickly and keeps you warm on Low setting. I like that the plugs are at the top of pad instead of bottom. Very comfortable and is just what I was looking for.

I already had one of these in Queen size; I made sure I could find it in King before I bought new mattresses. Not an electric blanket, never too warm or cold. It just keeps you cozy and comfortable all year long. I love that you lay on it instead of under it. I would give it 100 stars if I could!

SWEET! No buzz...on or off...no 'clicking' sound from the controllers when they cycle on and off...Cal King size is incredible! Preheat just like you said and it is SOOOOOO comfortable. Wife doesn't need me for a preheater any more, and it has paid for it's self the first month. Superior to any heating blanket i've owned or tried in the past. Will purchase one each for the kids in Colorado. Thanks for a great product.

the first time I got into my SoftHeat mattress pad it was like dipping into a warm bath. It was ABSOLUTE HEAVEN! We heat the living room and common area and so when I go to bed at night my room is cold. Now, I DON'T CARE. As soon as I sit down the bed warms my legs. I slide into the warm snuggly covers and pull them over me. Instead of curling up in a ball waiting to warm up I can stretch my toes all the way to the tips of the mattress and feel completely warm. I FREAKING LOVE this thing! WELL worth the investment :))))

I can't even tell you how much I love this warming pad. With an electric blanket you roll over and the spots in the bed not touching the blanket are cold. With this warming pad the whole bed can be set at your perfect temperature. What I didn't realize was that I would wake up a whole lot less 'creaky'! (My Cal King pad doesn't make a sound.)

I have owned 4 or 5 different heated mattress pads in the past, but none of the low voltage type. The difference is AMAZING!!!! I was using my last one on 8 or 9 and it wasn't really warm. 2 or 3 on the low voltage is perfect!!! And it realy is a much more even heat. I have only had it a few weeks, but if it holds up I will definately replace it with another low voltage pad. Also very fast service from Comfort House!!!

This was an excellent purchase. I bought this for my girlfriend who relocated from FL to MD. Winters are a little cold for her and she relishes in the comfort of a warm bed. This mattress pad adds the warmth needed to take the chill off the sheets and comforter. So far the highest heat setting she used is 3 so I don't know how "hot" it can get but she is happy. Me, being an engineer, am happy with the low voltage technology that will ensure years of consistent heat. Additionally, with experience with the old heavy wire 120V coils, I am happy not to have the wires protruding into me keeping me from being comfortable. The thin wires also help give a feeling of more even heat since heavy gauge wires make you feel the heat much more locally where the wires are at. The dual controls were a must for us since I prefer a colder bed and they work great. I would definitely buy again.

This was one of the best purchases made. Quiet controls and really does warm up the bed. We preheat on high then turn it to low during the night. We were going to buy an electric blanket but am so glad we purchased the electric mattress pad from PerfectFit instead. Researching all products this one came up with the best reviews. This is my second SoftHeat mattress pad (I also have a queen) and they are the best purchases I have made in years. The low heat warms the sheets before you get into bed and then keeps you warm all night. The automatic shut off gives you 10 hours of comfy sleep for nights you catch a few extra winks and the wires are impossible to feel. Great price. Great product.

I bought 4 of these for my children ages 8-9. They would always complain about being cold at night even with there blankets. We put these low voltage mattress pads on and the first night the kids were asleep within minutes. They didn't overheat and raved the next morning about how great it was staying warm. We also have cats with only back claws. I placed a thicker blanket over the electric mattress pad (below the sheet) to help protect it from any punctures and so far no issues. I did some research and they recommended this brand of electric mattress pad for people that have pets. This was definitely a great buy for our family.

After LOTS of research on figuring out the different types of mattress pads (it can be overwhelming) I purchased this mattress pad for my parents (both of whom have muscle problems). It has been perfect for them. It fits their air mattress bed perfectly. It's true that the wires are soooo thin that they barely can be felt and when the pad is under the sheet it's impossible to tell that they are there. I was worried that the unit would be noisy (as one review stated). However, the controls are completely silent-I have even held them up to my ear and couldn't detect any noise. My mom who had 5 blankets on her bed to keep her warm now only has one light one and keeps her dial on 5 (out of 10). I have absolutely no regrets in buying this product!
I have no regrets in shopping with Comforthouse either. I had never heard of this company and was hesitant to buy any bedding online, however it was so easy and it even was shipped much earlier than I was expecting!

Bought this for safety as well as comfort and couldn't be happier. The "soft" heat relaxes my back & I can fall asleep without waiting hours for my hands & feet to warm up. We've removed one comforter for our bed, & even with control on 1 or 2 are very comfy. Seems to help my husband's sleep apnea as well. Have recommended to a freind with back problems. Our bedroom's unheated, and this makes a WORLD of difference.

After doing the research, I selected this product based on it's specifications and good reviews! I couldn't be more pleased. It heats quickly and has a good selection of heat levels depending on how cold I am feeling that night. I have in fact been able to turn down the house thermostat 2-4 degrees on most nights. Never felt the difference in my warm bed. I was quite comfortable all night. One of my two dogs was a bit unsettled the first couple nights. He now sleeps like a log again. How did I survive without this creature comfort?

I was deliberating between getting another electric blanket or trying a heated mattress pad. After much deliberation, I can honestly say that I made the right choice! This pad is so comfortable, you really don't feel any wires at all and the heat is evenly distributed. I like pre warming the bed and it is just right to get into, especially on these cold Wi winter nights. I usually set it down to 2 for the duration of the evening and I like the fact that there is no clicking or any sound whatsoever from the power pack or control unit. I would strongly recommend this brand to anyone who really wants a quality bed warming product for themselves or a gift!

I use to use the low voltage electric blanket and changed over to the pad. I absolutely love this thing! I can actually be very cozy warm but not smothered in blankets! Even my husband will use his side which is not typical of him. Bought some for my folks this year and they really are enjoying them. they rely on fire stove for heat and these allow them to not have to burn right up to bedtime. customer service was timely and cooperative, even very friendly in exchanges of emails. thank you so much for a great experience and great prices!

Excellent in every way. It is not yet winter, so I only turn the pad up to 5 to pre-warm the bed. I cut it down to 1 or 2 and am very warm. This lets me know that when the true cold hits, I will sleep like a warm baby. Easy installation and care, if you follow the instructions. I recommend this pad!

I really like that there are no dangling cords. I warmed on 3 last evening and it really kept me comfortable and eased my aches . This pad allows me to reduce cover weight which is good because I have muscle weakness and heavy covers are just too much for me to manage.

BEST quality. If anything the manufacturer undersells the features.
Well padded and I can't tell the wires are even there. More than adequate heating to keep you comfortable all night unless of course you're looking to match your kitchen oven. Have not detected any transformer hum like one review I had read.

This is my second comforter of the same brand from this on-line seller. The first one lasted about five years. The company has made improvements as this newer one seems warmer, the converter boxs are smaller, the attachment clips are larger and more secure.
Getting into bed now is like slipping into a warm bath. Prior to getting the comforter I had thrown my back out. It was bothering me for about two weeks before the comforter arrived. One night's sleep on the comforter and my back problems went away; I guess it had the same effect on my back as placing a heating pad on it would have had.
This comforter will save you money as you can turn the heat down in your house at night much lower than you would if you did not have this comforter.

My running shoes are the best thing--but this runs a close second! Hey, I'm in Texas so you'd think we wouldn't need stuff like this, but this makes beddy-bye instantly warm while keeping the thermostat down. I love it. The only downside is that it interferes with my radio on the same circuit. The other radio/stereo across the room is just fine--no interference. I love it--did I say that? I start out at setting "10" and before I turn out the lights, set it to around 2 and it doesn't overheat or anything. I love it!

This works great. It is nice to climb into a warm bed. Despite what the manufacturer says, it does get warm (about 95F on high). In a 60F room, usually the lowest settings are enough with a comforter.
Their are two problems I've found the mattress pad, though neither is enough to keep me from buying another pad.
The first is that the plugs are at the top of the pad, and I sometimes bump them with my arm (I'm 6'3").
The second problem is that the transformers buzz, whether the pad is on or not. It's a different tone when it is working, but in a quiet room, it's quite noticeable for someone with good ears. I was, however, able to put the transformers under our nightstands, and that was enough to muffle them.

It has proven to be the best electric mattress pad I've ever owned. When they said no wires would be visible to the eye or touch, they were absolutely right. It heats quickly and maintains the heat level I set. I love the fact that it is softly padded and wireless under my body. I've already recommended it to several friends.
