I do not like to be too warm or buried under a heavy down comforter when I sleep. After ordering and returning other down blankets labelled "light weight", I was thrilled to find this blanket that is truly very minimally filled with down. It is perfect over a top sheet for summer nights here in the South. It provides enough warmth in an air-conditiioned room without being too much. Will use over a blanket in cooler seasons. With the box stitching and satin edging, it looks nice enough to serve as a bedspread as well. I ordered white so can't comment on the other colors, but know from searching that a previous catolog company that carried this type of blanket no longer has these soft, neutral colors. Very pleased!

Very nice product. I ordered the silverdust which is a beautiful color...sort of gray blue...looks very nice with our dark wood furniture.
