The heated throw is very nice. It is large enough to cover your entire body, and it is not too bulky. My only complaint is the location of the wires at the bottom of the throw. It is an awkward placement for the wires.

This heated throw is top-knotch! I've bought three previously, but after about 8 years they were all wearing out. The construction on the plaid design is thicker, heavier, and stronger than the older models. These are toasty warm, not enough to burn you, but to keep even cold air in a room at bay. By wrapping up in this heated throw I can keep the heat down while I work all day in my home office. Highly recommend, a great value for the price!

My husband loves this electric throw, have to tell him to
turn it off when he goes to bed. Our other Sunbeam
heated throw, the red light blinked after being on for some
time and I had to disconnect from the wall and it would
come on again for awhile, so don't have to do that any more.

I love Love LOVE this throw! I have a queen size electric blanket on my bed, but it takes a few minutes to warm up b/c of how large it is. I plug this throw in, turn it on, and it is warm in less than a minute. Perfect for snuggling up on the couch and afternoon naps :) Incredibly soft and machine washable (haven't washed it yet--so i can't comment on the post wash condition). Definitely worth the money!

The last sunbeam throw I had, the controls were up near the top where I could reach it without putting my recliner down to change the temperature. This new throw where the control is by my feet is ridiculous.

This was the perfect gift to help my San Diego wife cope with our deep freeze Wisconsin winter. The extreme temps have caused a propane crisis; to conserve, we changed from heating at 72 to heating at 62. Having an electric blanket has helped keep things warm!

I got this for a Christmas gift for my aunt. She really likes it, mainly for its softness. She said the blanket itself is so warm and cozy she hardly needs to plug it in for extra heat. It warms up quickly and evenly; I also like the auto shutoff feature. Great value for the money.

Lovely and warm. Have to argue with cats for space! Have the garnet plaid and claws have made quite a few pulls in the fabric. Also have to remember to unplug it since either cat jumping on the control could turn it on! Overall it has been used by most everyone in the family. Great comfort inthewinter.

I received one of these a year ago as a gift and liked it so much that I bought two more this year -- one for myself and another as a gift. It is very soft and the walnut color is a rich dark chocolate brown. It washes beautifully in the washing machine. The three heat settings are perfect for the wide range of coastal evening temperatures we have here. I've been able to turn down the heater and use the throw, so it saves money in the end.
If you compare prices, be sure to look at the controller-- it should look like the one for the CH product. There seem to be other versions out there and I am not sure they will be as good as the one CH sells. CH had the best delivered price for this item.

I need fresh air and sleep with my window open, even in the winter. I have a thick comforter and sheet on top of the trow and a light comforter on top with me sandwiched between. I thought three settings wouldn't be enough but they have worked out perfectly. Why didn't I think of this years ago.

These are ultra soft and cuddly, and warm. Three settings give a nice range of heat. I use it to wrap up in, or sometimes lay it over my covers at night to heat them up. It has an automatic shut off after three hours, so you never have to worry about leaving it on. I'm back on the site today, looking to order another one for my sister.

I got the plaid throw and it is the most soft material, really nice. I'd like to get one for all my friends. It feels like a baby's blanket. Three heat levels and it ranges from mildly warm to very warm. I love it.
