Dynatrap DT2000XL Insect Trap - - effectively eliminates mosquitoes and other flying insects without adding pesticides or chemicals to the surrounding area. Works without expensive attractants or propane.

Dynatrap model DT2000XL provides up to 1 acre coverage. Can be used indoors or out. Place on the ground or hang your DT2000XL from an eave, shepherd's hook, or tree.

Pesticide and odor free. Whisper quiet operation. No zapping or buzzing.

This insect trap is engineered for 3-way protection. First, a UV fluorescent bulb generates a warm light, attracting insects. Then a second lure, an exclusive Ti02 titanium dioxide-coated surface, produces CO2 that's irresistible to mosquitos. Third, a powerful yet whisper-quiet vacuum fan sucks insects into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die.

Designed for continuous 24/7 operation. Easy to install.

Had the unit for about 6-7 weeks. The bulbs burned out already. REALLY!! See an awful lot of moths and not much mosquitoes so I don't see this working very well. This is just a glorified bug zapper at 3x times the cost plus the bulbs don't last. Not worth it!!

Had bugs around light near my back door, the bugs constantly came in the house when opened door to let dog out. Needed to get rid of bugs. Looked at other items Zappers ect. reviews were so so. Then I came across the Dynatrap good reviews so I thought I would try. Found at Comfort House at a very good price. I ordered the large DT2000xl model
(The unit wasn't in stock at Comfort House but was being drop shipped from manufacturer which means newest model, I thought this was a plus)
THe unit arrived within a reasonable time frame
Hung unit up away from my door and by the second night no bugs by the door but the DT2000XL units basket was filling up.
I picked this model as it has flaps that closes when powered down trapping any live insects. Have been using for about a week so far.
Over all impression is I am very satisfied with this unit and would recommend and purchase again.

I have always had a yard full of mosquitoes and never imagined being able to go outside and NOT get bit until now. The Dynatrap DT2000XL is everything it says it is and more. I am sooo thrilled after having it on for three days/nights for the first time in my life I have been able to sit outside or work in my garden anytime day or night and not get bit by a mosquito. This machine is awesome! And no propane and no chemical packs and I'll let you know if it really only uses about a dollar a month in electricity after I have had it going for a month.
