Traditionally, the best and most expensive lighted mirrors
diffuse a halo of light outward never passing across the
surface of the mirror. This means that once you put your
face directly in front of the mirror, the light
goes behind you. As you move in closer, you'll lose the
light altogether as it goes right past your face.
With Surround Light technology, no matter what distance you
are from the mirror, you will have full illumination on your face. In addition, this trophy 9" optical-quality mirror features:
- available in either powerful 5X or 7X magnification
- fog-free optics
- an instant on switch that prevents annoying start-up flickers

MAGNIFICATION GUIDELINES - - Zadro suggests that 7X magnification is most appropriate for people who wear high-strength prescription glasses. 5X magnification is for people who wear lower strength prescription glasses. Young eyes that do not require prescription glasses (generally less than 30 years old and especially college-age and younger) may not be able to tolerate any magnification.
