Taylor's Remote, wireless, digital thermometer system is simple to install and simple to use! Place base unit in location 1 and place remote unit in location 2, which can be up to 100 feet away from the base. Then track the current temperature or daily high/low in either location from the base unit.
- Place the remote sensor in your basement or garage so that you can watch for dangerously low temperatures before the pipes freeze.
- Place the remote sensor in your greenhouse so that you can watch for temperatures that could cause damage to your tender plants before they wilt or freeze, depending on the season.
Besides just temperature, this remote sensor thermometer has a hygrometer that tracks indoor and outdoor humidity, has a blue backlit display to momentarily light up the main unit for reading at night or in dark room applications, and has a clock that automatically sets its own time and date via radio signal sent by the US atomic clock in Fort Collins, Colorado. Clock includes alarm with snooze function.
And the best part is that this remote thermometer requires absolutely no installation.
Base unit can handle up to 3 remote sensors for a
maximum of 4 different readings. Up to 100' perimeter span.
Taylor model 1526 package (#11149) contains 1 base unit (shown above) with an easy-to-read LCD display; 1 remote temperature sensor with display; and sensor probe cable for monitoring liquids. Additional sensors are sold separately below so you can customize your system.
Main unit measures 5"w x 3.75"h x 1"d and requires 2 AAA alkaline batteries. Remote unit
measures 3.25"w x 2.5"h x .75"d and requires 2 AAA alkaline batteries. Batteries are sold separately below.
Wall mount or freestanding design. Remote sensors are weatherproof but should not be placed in direct sunlight, rain, snow, or submerged in water.
Thermometer measures in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. Indoor operating range is 14 degrees F (-10 degrees C) to 158 degrees F (70 degrees C). Outdoor operating range is -40 degrees F (-40 degrees C) to 158 degrees F (70 degrees C). Temperature resolution is 0.1 degree F.
Remote sensors transmit temperature updates to receiver at 2 minute 30 second intervals at RF434
