Taylor's Remote, wireless, digital thermometer system is simple to install and simple to use! Place base unit in location 1 and place remote unit in location 2, which can be up to 100 feet away from the base. Then track the current temperature or daily high/low in either location from the base unit.
- Place the remote sensor in your basement or garage so that you can watch for dangerously low temperatures before the pipes freeze.
- Place the remote sensor in your greenhouse so that you can watch for temperatures that could cause damage to your tender plants before they wilt or freeze, depending on the season.
And the best part is that this remote thermometer requires absolutely no installation.
Base unit displays indoor temperature on bottom
and remote temperature on top and can handle up to 3 remote sensors for a
maximum of 4 different readings. Up to 100' perimeter span.
Taylor model 1456 package (#17935) contains 1 base unit (shown above) with a big, bright, and easy-to-read LCD display (large 1" digits); 1 remote temperature sensor with 0.5" display; and sensor probe cable for monitoring liquids. Additional sensors are sold separately so you can customize your
system.
Main unit measures 5"w x 3.5"h x 1.125"d and requires 2 AA alkaline batteries. Remote unit
measures 3.375"w x 3.25"h x 1"d and requires 2 AA alkaline batteries. Batteries are
sold separately.
Wall mount or freestanding design. Remote sensors are weatherproof but should not be placed in direct sunlight, rain, snow, or
submerged in water.
Thermometer measures in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. Indoor operating range is 23 degrees F (-5 degrees C) to 122 degrees F (50 degrees C). Outdoor operating range is -4 degrees F (-20 degrees C) to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). Temperature resolution is 0.1 degree F.
Remote sensors transmit temperature updates to receiver at 2 minute 30 second intervals at RF434
