Emile Henry Ceramic Tagine - - Ceramic tagine casserole dish can be used directly on your electric or gas stove, because Emily Henry's new FLAME technology makes glazed clay exceptionally resistant to heat. The hard glaze finish means you can enjoy the slow, even cooking associated with ceramic on the stovetop and in the oven. (Note: not for use on an induction cooktop.)

A tagine is a glazed-clay dish with a pointed-hat-shape lid that allows steam to circulate inside. The word tagine refers to both the dish and the contents. Common misspellings include tangene, tanjeen, and tangine.

The unique shape of the tagine is perfect for traditional Moroccan tagine recipes as well as for any recipe that needs to be simmered for a long time. Recipes for lamb tagine, chicken tagine, sea bass tagine, and beef & vegetable tagine are included.

Glazes are lead and cadmium free. Dish and lid are both dishwasher safe. Dimensions (including top): 12.5" diameter x 8.5" high. Sorry, color yellow has been discontinued.
