Manhattan Collection Espresso Platform Storage Bed combines a sophisticated espresso finish and contemporary design with six spacious easy-access storage drawers to provide a complete under bed storage system. Use these convenient under-the-bed storage drawers for bulky items, out of season clothing, sports equipment, etc.
Available in double/full and queen. Prepac EBD-5600-3K double / full platform storage bed measures 57" x 76.5" x 18.75"H; weighs 166.5 pounds. Pre Pac EBQ-6200-3K queen platform storage bed measures 63" x 81.75" x 18.75"H; weighs 183 pounds.

Platform bed has a slat support system made of solid wood slats running lengthwise to distribute body weight evenly over the bed. Made from composite woods, solid wood slats, metal supports, and quality hardware.
Additional construction information: Most parts** of items in the Manhattan collection are made from a combination of Engineered Woods, a mixture of high-quality, hard and soft wood materials, which generally come from the surplus of the original lumber processing. Commonly referred to as MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and Composite Wood, these materials are wood fibers bonded together with a synthetic resin in a process that combines high heat and pressure to make a very stable, environmentally friendly product. The result is dense, strong panels of fiberboard and/or particleboard (composite wood), which are then laminated with durable, attractive finishes. **The back panel of Manhattan pieces is heavy-gauge cardboard. The side that faces the wall is unfinished; the visible side is finished with laminate.
