"I would like to purchase a Slow Cooker made in USA." In recent years, at least once every single day someone comes to our kitchen department with this request. I’ve been asked at least 1,000 times.
The last USA made slow cooker I know of was made by West Bend and we sold them up to the very end. Now they are produced in China like most other small kitchen electrics.
I was tipped off the other day by a client that there may actually still be an obscure USA made brand that retails for around $300. I am investigating this lead but unsure how many would be able to stomach the cost.
My most frequent recommendation is go with a Kitchenaid because no one ever goes wrong with a KitchenAid product. Although it’s not made in USA, their stand mixers are still produced here.
