Blueair Direct Flow Reverse Osmosis Water Purification - - Direct Flow reverse osmosis water purifier from Blueair provides truly pure water by removing the impurities you don't want: toxins, chlorine, salt, bacteria and viruses, heavy metals, fluoride and nitrite.
Direct flow from the main water supply to the faucet eliminates bulky water tanks with stored water. Compact design fits easily under a kitchen sink. (INSTALLATION INFORMATION: The Direct Flow water faucet will be installed next to your sink. Installation process requires a hole to be drilled from below the sink, to above.)
High flow rate: 0.7 gallons/minute. Continuous monitoring and control of water quality. When the Direct Flow faucet is turned on, a yellow light will appear for up to 120 seconds. When the light turns blue, purified water is flowing through and is ready for consumption.
Unlike some other reverse osmosis systems, the Direct Flow system does not use a storage tank, so it never runs out of water. (Blueair design does not use a storage tank because the tank can collect bacteria and other contaminants. In addition, storage tanks run out of water eventually, so the user only has a limited amount of clean water available before the tank must refill itself, which can take hours.)
Direct Flow RO water purifier requires just one pre-filter for easy and low-cost maintenance. (Note: Unit will stop working if this filter is too dirty. Carbon pre-filters should be changed two to three times per year. The filter indicator light flashes yellow when the filter change is required.) New faucet design with push-button.
PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION RECOMMENDED: Blueair strongly recommends that a professional plumber install the Direct Flow system. All installation guidelines outlined in the user manual must be followed to keep 1-year warranty in tact.
