Purelight UV Sterilizing Wand - - Purelight UV sterilizing wand allows you to sterilize household surfaces like mattresses, carpets, furniture, toys, books, bedding, etc., without using chemicals or products that merely mask odors.
Use this germ killing wand to create a healthy indoor environment. Designed to reduce and control disease-causing bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Guidelines for use . . . .
- Mattresses, pillows, bedding: vacuum the mattress first. Hold Purelight UV Light Wand approximately 8" above the surface and move the wand sideways over 1' area for 20 seconds. Continue until the entire surface area is covered.
- Personal hygiene items: expose items such as razors, hair brushes, combs at close range (a few inches or less) for a minimum of 10 seconds.
- Kitchen utensils: hold the wand at close range, exposing knives, utensils, cutting boards for a
minimum of 10 seconds. Keep away from water sources.
- Fruits: hold the wand approximately 8" above item for 20 seconds. Do not expose fruit for very long periods as this may change the taste.
- Toilet seat: hold the wand approximately 4" above the
surface of the toilet seat and slowly move the wand sideways over the entire surface for a total of 20
seconds. Be careful not to immerse the wand in water.
- Smelly rooms: To minimize/eliminate musty smells in rooms, leave the device on for 2 hours to kill
germs and molds while the room is unoccupied. Keep room locked if there are children in the house.
- Shoes: expose once a week at close range for 5 minutes to help kill germs that cause athlete's foot. Expose the soles of your shoes more frequently, as they are the major source of bringing
bacteria into the home!
- Computers, doorknobs, telephones, etc.: Expose at a distance of 8" for 10-20 seconds.
