Protected Home WA-5001 Water Alarm Plus
Protected Home WA-5001 Water Alarm Plus - - Water Alarm Plus automatically calls you if the attached water sensor detects water. Set the sensor on the floor near a washing machine, toilet, water heater, or inside a sump and Water Alarm Plus will alert you of a water flow emergency.
When it detects water, the water sensor sounds a 90 decibal siren and triggers the telephone dialer to call one telephone number every 15 minutes (or every 2 hours) to alert you with a factory-recorded voice alarm message that water has been detected! The WaterAlarm Plus will continue to call until you call back to your monitored home, business, or cabin and tell the WaterAlarm Plus to stop calling you.
Plugs into any existing phone jack in your home and will not interfere with existing phone service (works with Touch-Tone® phone service only!). Uses two 9-volt batteries (not included) to operate, so it can even call you if the power is out. (Note: However, if you have digital phone service through your cable company or DSL phone service, your phone lines may not operate during a power failure.)
Sensor can be placed up to 6' from siren but you may splice in your own wire to extend up to 1000'. Siren has 6' of wire between it and dialer but you may splice in wire to extend up to 1000'. Dialer dimensions: 3.375"W x 1.875"D x 6"H. 1-year mfg. warranty.

Specifically designed to be connected to FA-D2 Deluxe Freeze Alarm to trigger an alarm call-out if water is detected. Can also be used as an additional sensor for WA-5000 or WA-5001 Water Alarm Plus. This unit uses one (1) 9-volt battery (not included); unit can sound for up to 36 hours on a fresh battery. Low-battery alarm chirps to remind you to change the battery. 6' sensor wire allows sensor to be placed in hard-to-reach locations (you may splice in your own wire to extend up to 1000').
