8 Basic Massage Modes Using two or four firm rubber massage heads, the Panasonic Swede-Atsu Wave massage lounger accurately simulates stroking with the palm of hand, pressing with the heel of the hand, kneading with thumbs, and pressure with thumbs. It also covers a total of 135 square inches (27"L x 5"W), including the neck, shoulder and back. Kneading mode: gentle in-and-out motion using four massage heads. This function is especially effective on your neck and shoulders. Try both kneading modes for a different kneading pattern and sensation.
Rolling mode: muscles are gently stretched as the massage heads move up and down along the back. When "regional" is selected the heads will move in a 4" range. When "full" is selected, the heads will move in a 27" range. Tapping mode invigorating sensation of hands rapidly tapping on your back muscles. Try both tapping modes for a different rhythm.
