By the way, people who have looked at some other types of mattresses sometimes ask about density. Density is not a characteristic of this type of mattress. Instead, Elioform is described by its "deflection rate," or the amount of recovery. The deflection rate of Elioform is 4.7. (Something with a deflection rate above 6 is a solid, inflexible object. The deflection rate of concrete is about 8.)
Memory foam and Elioform are both 100 percent polyurethane foam. CoolMax® by Dupont cover is removable and machine washable. Ticking is 90 percent cotton; 10 percent other materials.
