Victorian Style Locking Mailbox - - is designed to resemble a classic wall mount Victorian letterbox.

Made of die cast aluminum with a durable antique powder-coat finish. The hand-applied coating gives this large aluminum mailbox a mottled, weathered appearance.

OPTIONAL THUMB LATCH: Can also be ordered with a thumb latch instead of a lock, essentially converting it to a non-locking mailbox. The thumb latch replaces the keyed lock in the same location on the doors and is offered as a convenience feature for locations where security is not an issue. If you prefer your mailbox to ship with a thumb latch instead of the standard keyed lock, select a "without lock" style from the drop-down box.

Dimensions: 12.25"W x 3.75"D x 17.5"H; weighs 8 pounds. Mail insertion lid: 9.5"W x 1.5"H. Door size: 9.5"W x 10.25"H. Includes mounting hardware. (Locking version also includes two keys.) Colors: black, bronze, and brown.

Thank you to customer JW of California for submitting the main photo above of his E6 mailbox in bronze (with lock). There is an arm sticking out from his post which he crafted (not visible) and then attached the E6 mailbox to.

Very nice addition to our home. Easy to install.
Looks nice, but not worth the money,

Although this mailbox looks great, agree with the previous reviewer that the slot is too small and is annoying for the mailman. But most of all, I can't believe I spent $120 on a mailbox that doesn't appear to be that well made and feels cheap. Wish I had seen it in person first.
  Love It!,

We are delighted with this mailbox! We renovated the porch on our 125+ year old home and was in search of a mailbox that wasn't flimsy or needed its own post. It is mounted securely to the front of our home, and blends in wonderfully with the red brick exterior. We selected the bronze finish. Mounting was straight-forward.

We searched a long time on the internet and in various
stores; we are quite happy! We have had it mounted for two weeks now, and will update after six months

I was not disappointed when I opened the cardboard carton...the mailbox is just like the photo and description. Mounting is simple and straight forward. My mailman has some issues with it, however. The lip on the door flap catches items intended to slide inside. Magazines don't fit well when in quantity (we got three one day, and the mailman wasn't able to get them all in. One magazine we get probably wouldn't fit into any box. We have a small area to mount a box, so we went with this one because it has a shorter depth than another we were considering and the deeper one may have interfered with the doorbell and door operation itself. It has good security, but if you plan to be gone more that a couple of days you probably want the Post Office to hold your mail.
