The mixer comes with KitchenAid's NEW burnished PowerKnead™ spiral dough hook, as well as the classic flat beater for mixing cakes, cookies, and batters and the stainless steel wire whip that produces maximum volume when whipping cream or
egg whites.
Equipped with a high-performance, professional-level motor, the Commercial 5 series mixer can effectively mix up to 11 cups of all-purpose flour per load. Several additional heavy-duty features are built into this mixer: a seamless bowl with sealed handle and bracket connections, commercial-style motor protection (shuts off when overload is sensed to protect motor), bowl-lift design, and a safety pin.
