In my opinion the pillow is entirely too tall. Definitely soft and resilient enough. I bought two sizes of this and a trim sleeper pillow. These two are more or less decorative pillows or for guests now. I suppose they're decent if you plan on sleeping on your side and broad shouldered like myself, but definitely not for sleeping on your back or chest.
