Secure Logic Mail Vault Locking Mailbox locking mail box with keyless entry touchpad helps avoid identity theft. Safely holds 20 pounds of mail including packages up to 1.75" thick. Easy-to-use touch pad keyless entry system keeps your mail safe.

The Secure Mail Vault is the first truly secure residential mailbox designed to eliminate the problem of identity theft through stolen mail. The Secure Mail Vault has one of the largest drop chutes in its class and has plenty of room for large envelopes and magazines. It is perfect for business or vacation, since a week's worth of average mail can be stored safely.

Touch-pad entry system, tamper-proof locking mechanism, and 14-gauge solid steel construction keeps your incoming mail safe. Special locking collar and solid steel pole provide extra security. With no screws, bolts, or seams visible, the Secure Mail Vault is nearly impenetrable. Your mail is safely secured behind a dual door with a keyless deadbolt mechanism while an angled mail slot keeps mail in and thieves out. Outer door holds out-bound mail.

Secure Mail Vault is designed for mounting on the included steel pole (46" x 3.5" diameter). The manufacturer recommends a post hole that is 12" in diameter and 21" deep. Please contact your local post office for information on correct curbside placement.

Electronic touchpad requires four (4) AA batteries (not included). Product Reviews

  Very Satisfied, February 4, 2014

Since were are frequently gone for a few days up to a few weeks, we wanted a secure mailbox with having our mail held or having a neighbor pick it up. This mailbox has been the perfect answer. We probably went to the extreme when we installed it using a bag and a half of QuickCrete, but wanted to make sure it was secure. After the post was set, it was easy to align and install the vault and post. Because of the weight and size, it was easier for two of use to mount the vault and post, instead of just one. We had read the reviews about possible problems with the key pad, but we have not experienced any of those. A friend of ours has the same unit, and he told us not to slam the door as it could disengage the batteries, so we just close it normally and have had no problems with that. We have had the unit for only about 4 months and have had extreme cold and snow during that time, but the batteries have held up just fine. We are very pleased with this, and would recommend it.
