HeatTrak rubber stair tread generates enough heat to melt 2" of snow per hour. Heated tread helps prevent snow and ice accumulation on porch steps. Helps reduce the risk of slipping and falling as you enter and exit any home, office, or commercial building. In addition, the chevron pattern provides extra traction.

Built with non-slip, UV protected rubber, these electrically heated stair treads are designed to stand up to tough use. HeatTrak tread should be left outside for the entire winter and turned on when snow begins to fall. When turned on, the traction mat maintains an average temperature of 35 degrees F above the ambient temperature. Plugs into standard 120-volt outlet.

Heating element is sandwiched between two protective surfaces of non-slip rubber. Each tread can be secured to the ground or porch surface via the designed-in grommet holes and screws appropriate for the surface.

Treads are sold individually. Multiple treads are daisy-chained together. The first tread has a 6' power cord; cord length between treads is 1.5'.

  • HRT11-31 (11" x 31"); 120 volts; 100 watts; 0.8 amps; 8 pounds.
  • HRT11-48 (11" x 48"); 120 volts; 123 watts; 1.0 amps; 11 pounds.
  • HRT11-60 (11" x 60"); 120 volts; 149 watts; 1.2 amps; 12 pounds.
