EasyStart Walk in Greenhouse is the perfect season extender and beginner greenhouse. Built with a sturdy aluminum frame and 4 mm twin-wall UV-coated polycarbonate sides (or glazing). Light, strong, and safe frame is coated with green enamel for long life. Polycarbonate glazing is virtually unbreakable and safer than glass. Twin-wall construction provides an excellent growing environment and good insulation.
In addition, we include the manufacturer-recommended 5" high galvanized steel base, which increases the overall strength and sturdiness of the greenhouse. The base can be put into the ground or installed on the ground. On-ground placement increases the overall height of the greenhouse.
This walk-in backyard greenhouse is designed to extend your growing season. EasyStart® can be used to over-winter established plants in a protected environment.
Season extending greenhouses, like EasyStart, are best suited for climates with mild winters and night frost only.
IMPORTANT: The EasyStart season extender greenhouse is not recommended for serious gardeners wishing to grow from seed plants and/or vegetables during a winter with abundant frost. In harsher climates, this product should be used only in late fall or early spring.
Available in three sizes: 6'W x 4'L (this size does not have a roof window); 6'W x 6'L (includes one roof window); and 6'W x 8'L (includes one roof window).
Our EasyStart greenhouse ships with ground stakes, one sliding door (opening is 24"W x 65"H), and a BONUS set of decorative roof finials (see small image above).
Inside height: 76" center and 49" at shoulder (on-ground installation of base increases shoulder height to approximately 54"). Assembly required.
