Gerbings heated liner gloves, May 8, 2012

I've had a chance to use these liners twice while motorcycle riding in 32F or 0C weather. When researching these liners I read that they are designed more for walking or hiking type activities and not for motorcycling. However I found that if the liners are covered with an outer gauntlet layer of polyester or leather the heat transfer to your hands is excellent. I ran the battery at 75% at 32F for 2hrs and I'm still getting heat.

I use the gloves for cycling several hours on freezing days. Good news: They work better than ANY other gloves or mittens, and with less bulk. Bad news: At 75% setting, the batteries give out after 3 hours; at 50%, they last 4-5 hours but provide barely enough warmth. Overall, I'm pleased I have them.
