And the way to assure perfection is to use a single ESE espresso pod, that is, 1 serving of fresh-ground coffee packed between 2 sheets of food-grade filter paper. Pods eliminate guesswork and mess. The primary benefits of pods are consistent servings, shortened preparation time, and ease of cleaning.
