Makes 2 quarts of fresh soft-consistency ice cream or other frozen dessert. (Note: Soft ice cream can be hardened in an airtight container in the freezer for 2 to 4 hours.) The KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment's 2-quart capacity offers the largest stand mixer attachment bowl capacity in the industry, and its open design allows for easy addition of ingredients.

To use: Simply store the Freeze Bowl in the freezer for a minimum of 15 hours and then make up to 2 quarts of frozen dessert in 20 to 30 minutes. Specially formulated liquid inside the double walls of the freeze bowl provides thorough, even freezing throughout the mixing process. The dasher rotates inside the freeze bowl to spread, scrape, and mix.

Instruction guide provides tips for making perfect ice cream as well as recipes for French Vanilla, Fresh Strawberry, Cookies 'n Cream, Caramel Pecan, and Triple Chocolate ice creams; Peach and Fresh Pineapple sorbets; and Minted Mango sherbet.
