With twin XL, full, and queen Royal Pedic Adjustable Beds, you'll sleep on a specially engineered steel-coil box spring, instead of the polyurethane foam foundation found on most adjustable beds. Cal king (CKing) and Eastern king (EKing) adjustable beds rest on a foam foundation, because of their larger size and weight. The advantages of a steel coil box spring over a polyurethane foam foundation are increased comfort, improved mattress contouring to the body, added pressure point relief, and longer life for both the mattress and the box spring support.

DUAL-MASSAGE OPTION - - (Royal Pedic Level 1 upgrade; see item 98229F below). Choose low, medium, or high vibration intensity. Automatic massage shut off after 30 minutes (in case you fall asleep with the massage on).
CORDLESS REMOTE CONTROL WITH DUAL MASSAGE - - (Royal Pedic Level 2 upgrade; see item 98230F below). Uses a 9 volt battery. Cordless remote is available only with massage.
HEADBOARD HUGGER® - - (Royal Pedic Level 3 uprgrade; see item 98231F below). Keeps your bed next to the nightstand when the head section is elevated. The box spring padding is foam instead of springs, so the mattress feels slightly firmer. This option includes Level 2 cordless remote control with dual massage (above). Available for twin, full, and queen sizes only.
EXTRA HAND CONTROL - - Available for queen or one-piece king beds. Gives each person the convenience of his or her own hand control, rather than having to reach over if it's on the other side of the bed.
