Microfiber barrier fabric offers completely undetectable protection against dust mites. Exceptionally strong, luxuriously soft fabric is made of ultra-fine fibers resulting in a fabric that is finer than the most delicate silk. This specially formulated fabric is made of tightly woven yarns that block out allergen molecules of less than 3.03 microns in size, while still allowing air and moisture to pass through freely.
Per independent lab testing, Zip & Block products provide exceptional protection and clinical effectiveness against dust mite allergens. The pore size of the fabric used to produce Extra Soft Block Zip & Block bedding is less than 3.03 microns, which is well below the industry's maximum allowable pore size of 10 microns, thereby ensuring an effective barrier against dust mites.
