Remote control switch, timer, and lamp dimmer
Introducing the remote control that does it all. It lets you turn lights or electronic devices on and off from up to 75' away. Or you may use it as a timer and program devices to turn on and off at a preset time (either instantly or gradually) or set to activate at random intervals. Also controls brightness and dimness of lights. A shut off delay even gives you enough time to exit before it is completely dark.
Just plug one of the two the receiving modules into any outlet, plug in your lamp or electronic device, and press the button on the handy remote transmitter. Ideal for holiday lights and great for indoor year-round use.
Includes two receiver modules and one remote control. One of the receiver modules has a dimmer control; this receiver accepts a 2 prong plug and plugs into a 2 prong outlet. It can be operated independently of the remote; it has buttons on it to control on/off and brightness level. The other receiver (the one without dimming control) accepts a 3 prong plug and plugs into a 3 prong outlet; it has a button on it to control on/off independently of the remote.
Dimmer receiver specifications: 120 volts AC, 60Hz, maximum rating 200 watts. Only incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, and halogen lamps with a transformer may be operated by dimmer receiver.
Non-dimmer receiver specifications: 120 volts AC, 60 Hz, maximum rating 1800 watts (resistive), 600 watts (Tungsten), 15 amps.
Please note that the receivers should not be placed within a 6 inch range of each other and are for indoor use only.
Both receivers have power indicator lights and LCD displays.
Receivers can be set to operate on different channels or on the same channel. Any receiver assigned to the same channel will be issued the same commands at the same time. Therefore, you may choose to activate your lighting and home stereo system with a single command.
Please note that the transmitter is capable of controlling up to 10 receivers. Receivers are not sold separately at this time (the factory says they may be available one day). Therefore to add remotes to your system, you will need to purchase additional quantities of this product. You can then easily program the receivers to work on any one of the 10 available channels.
Transmitter has a range of up to 75' in open area. Walls and other objects may limit the range. Operates on 433MHz.
Uses three AAA batteries (included). Wall mounting bracket included.
