Eight Day Cuckoo Clock - - This impressive, eight day, German-made cuckoo clock is 27" tall. Clock features a carved case with birds and leaves with grapes. Two large weights drive the time and cuckoo.
The weight run-out for this 8-day cuckoo clock is about 6' per week. (Please hang this clock so that the bottom of the case is about 6.5' from the floor.) 8-day cuckoo clocks need to be wound weekly.
The time can be regulated by sliding the pendulum bob up the pendulum stick to make the clock run faster or down the stick to slow it down. Night shut-off mechanism for cuckoo.
Clock case is made of select linden, pine, and spruce woods from the Black Forest. The woods are dried for several years before experienced master carvers handcraft the cases and frames.
