Handheld Wind Meter - - Wind Meter with thermometer measures wind strength (from 0 to 124 mph) and enables you to assess of the weather situation at your site. Wind strength is displayed in digital and quasi-analog form (extremely helpful for understanding short-term changes). Wind strength can be displayed in knots, km/h, miles/h, m/s, or Beaufort as desired; temperature can be displayed in C or F degrees or as a wind-chill equivalent. (Note: does not detect wind direction.)
Operation of the device with just two large keys is especially simple. Innovative cap protects the wind wheel against damage in transport and can be used as a stand for the device when in operation.
Dimensions: 3"L x 2.5"W x 6"H; weighs 8 ounces. Automatic battery disconnect conserves battery life.
Requires two (2) AAA batteries (available separately below). Accuracy +/- 1Km. 6-month mfg. warranty.
