Bamboo Kitchen Cart - - Round bamboo mobile kitchen cart with pull-out, removable cutting board beneath the center drawer, 2-door storage cabinet with shelf, and a stunning parquet end-grain butcher block style top.
The 1.5" solid top is finished off with a juice channel and flanked by two stainless steel towel bars. The center area contains an open storage cubby and two side spice and condiment racks with stainless steel rails to keep everything in place. Additional storage racks with stainless steel rails surround the lower cabinet. Heavy duty locking casters for mobility and stability.
ABOUT BAMBOO . . . Bamboo is actually a grass that grows to a harvestable height of 60' in about 3 to 5 years, growing as much as 2' per day. It has an extensive root system that continually sends up new shoots, naturally replenishing itself. Bamboo does not require replanting, making it one of the most renewable resources known. The species used by Totally Bamboo, "Moso" timber bamboo, is neither a food source nor a habitat for the Giant Panda. Bamboo holds the promise of a sustainable, cost effective and ecologically responsible alternative to the widespread clear cutting of our world's precious timberland.
