Multi-pro espresso machines by Briel meet the requirements
of small restaurants and coffee bars. Made of
stainless-steel and high impact plastics, Multi-pro
espresso machines can withstand the wear and tear of
commercial environments. When used in your kitchen, you'll
not only have the jazziest looking espresso machine around,
but one that will make an espresso in seconds without
fuss.
Whether you use ground coffee or espresso serving pods, Briel's
patented filter guarantees rich genuine coffee crema
(the sign of perfect brewing) every time-even if you are a
first time espresso machine user.
Start-up preparation is easy with the automatic
self-priming pump. An OK light signals when the machine is
ready for brewing or frothing. The high quality pump
maintains a constant pressure of up to 15 bars,
substantially above the minimum 9 bars necessary for merely a good
espresso.
After brewing, Briel's patented and exclusive Aqua-stop
system ensures the automatic extraction of air pockets and
remnant water from the tubing, prevents the messy dripping
after the brewing process that you find with most other
pump espresso makers, and reduces the need to constantly
clean the drip tray.
The Multi-pro series includes auto-espresso flow that lets
you select the exact amount of espresso to flow into the
cup. A variable microchip circuit times the flow; you can
select a tall or short cup, and the pump shuts off
automatically- you won't need to keep your finger on the
switch and monitor the coffee flow yourself.
The Multi-Pro is available as an espresso only unit (Briel model ES200APG shown in larger picture above) or as an espresso/coffeemaker combination (Briel model ED271APG shown in smaller picture above; click on picture to view in greater detail).
Briel Multi-pro espresso machines come with a built-in
coffee tamper, cappucino steamer nozzle, and toll-free customer support number. The
pump has an unprecedented 10 year warranty (the pump is
the heart of an espresso machine-this warranty is one of
the best in the industry). Made in Portugal.
Color: Highly polished stainless steel with black sides.
FAQs: What are Pods?
Coffee serving pods are also known as E.S.E. or easy
serving espresso. E.S.E. is a standard that started in
Europe over a decade ago and has now begun to gain
popularity in the US. The primary benefits of pods
include consistent servings, shortened preparation time,
and ease of cleaning. Multi-pro series machines will work with both ground coffee and
pods. Pods are available at most coffee shops, a
growing number of specialty food stores, and by clicking the first link below.
